Library Services

Mobile Printing/Wireless Printing

With our MobilePrint Service™, you can use your mobile device or personal computer to print to the library’s printers from anywhere. Simply submit documents for printing and come to the library to print and pick up them up.

  • Black and white printing is $.10 per page and color printing is $.50 per page.
  • Printing charges must be paid in cash unless you present your MLC library card.

Using email to send documents to library print system:

  • Email from any device directly to the library’s print system at richmond-heights-library-bw@printspots.com (for black and white prints) or richmond-heights-library-color@printspots.com (for color prints).
  • Come to the Richmond Heights Memorial Library and provide Circulation staff with the email address you used to send the prints. Staff will then print the documents.

Printing from tablet or smartphone app:

  • Visit your device’s ‘store’ for apps. Install and launch the PrinterOn app.
  • Click “No printer selected.”
  • Click “Search.” Search for Richmond Heights Memorial Library.
  • Find Richmond Heights Memorial Library and tap either the black and white or color printer and save. To print:
  • Documents: when viewing the document, tap in the upper right corner and upload the document to the PrinterOn app.
  • Photos from your phone: open the app, tap on “photo” and select a photo to print.
  • Select the printer and click the print icon.
  • Enter an email address and tap on the check mark (you will receive a notice that the job started, and shortly after another message stating “Job Success”).
  • Come to the Richmond Heights Memorial Library and provide Circulation staff with the email address you used to send the prints. Staff will then print the documents.

Printing from a laptop or desktop computer:

  • Begin by visiting https://printeron.net/richmondheights/library
  • Select the printer and enter your email address.
  • Browse your computer to find and select the file you wish to print.
  • Click the green print icon (you will see the status of your print job and a reference number).
  • Come to the Richmond Heights Memorial Library and provide Circulation staff with the email address you used to send the prints. Staff will then print the documents.

Copy/Fax/Scan Services

A copy machine is available for copying, faxing and scanning.

Copying is available for $0.10/page for black & white and $0.50/page for color.

Faxing is available for $1.00/page.

Scanning in color and black & white is free. We have the ability for you to scan to e-mail or a flash-drive.


Public Access Computers

There are 14 public access computers available for patron use. Users must have an up-to-date MLC library card or valid Driver’s License/State ID in order to access the computers. There is a three (3) hour use limit per day Monday – Saturday and a one (1) hour limit on Sunday.

Each computer has internet access along with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher. Downloading or adding new programs is unavailable.


Interlibrary Loan

If the MLC Consortium does not have an item you’re interested in, our library can ask other libraries around the country to loan it to us, so we can then loan it to you. Material due dates and possible use restrictions are set by the loaning library, so how long you have access to materials may vary. Visit the Interlibrary Loan page for more information


Outreach Services

Our Outreach Librarian makes regular visits to 4 senior living residences in Richmond Heights. Stonecrest, Richmond Terrace, Allegro and Sunrise are all visited once to twice a month. For more information about services provided at each residence and scheduled times, please call 314-645-6202 and ask for Tricia.


Reference Services

Our library offers patrons customized computer training appointments. Forty-five (45) minute appointments can be set up to cover a variety of computer skills including basic computer skills, setting up an e-mail account, learning Microsoft Excel or navigating our online databases and more. Staff will assist in setting up a time and discuss what it is you are interested in learning. Appointments are not available on Sundays. To set up an appointment call the library at 314-645-6202 and ask for the Reference Desk.

Book Groups

Our library has three Book Groups. The Adult Book Group meets every 3rd Monday at 7pm. On the 3rd Thursday of every month, our Children’s Department hosts The Very Busy Reader (for K-3rd family readers) at 6:00pm and Books & Beyond (for 3rd-6th grade readers) at 7:00pm. Children’s Services

Our Children’s Department hosts both regular story times, as well as special event story times and other programming. Regular story times are held on Tuesday mornings at 10:00am for preschoolers, and we have STEAM Stories on Thursday afternoons at 4:00pm. Programming for Teens

Our Youth Department hosts regular events for Teens (grades 7th-12th). Please visit our Teen webpage for up-to-date details.


Proctoring Services

For individuals needing to take a proctored exam, our staff offers this service free of charge. Whether an incoming college student, current college student or a professional needing to take a certification exam, our reference staff is available by appointment. Proctor students must call and register for the service at least one week in advance of a test, then work with a librarian to schedule the appointment. Same day proctoring services and Sunday appointments are unavailable. Call 314-645-6202 and ask for the Reference Department to register and set up an appointment.
